Donovan graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. With a passion for being a life long learner, combined with being a creative thinker and problem solver; Donovan went on to work for Microsoft as a Technical Solutions Architect. Working at Microsoft has allowed him to leverage his passion for all things technology, engineering, art and design; to further pursue his entrepreneurial endeavors that combine a culmination of his various skillsets. He is passionate about developing innovative solutions through purposeful design, precision engineering, while incorporating aesthetics.
Jonathan Goode | Vice President
Rachel Goode | Chief Operating Officer
Rachel opens the line of communication between clients, customers, and businesses to get projects done. With over 15 years in both logistics and administrative operations; Rachel has experience in management consultation, strategic implementation, and e-commerce logistics. Rachel has seamlessly implemented multi-location POS and HRMS systems, providing team members as well as customers with the support, tools, resources and information they need to be successful.
Prior to Dogwood Goodes, Rachel was co-owner and Operations Director for Moonpie General, LLC. She was responsible for managing the retail operations of four retail stores as well as the logistical operations of e-commerce business. Rachel earned a Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology from the College of Charleston and went on to earn her APICS and ServSafe certifications.
Jonathan Hazeley | Chief Product Officer
Jonathan graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science, and from Wake Forest University with a Masters of Science (MS) in Management.
Jonathan’s passion is to bring products to the marketplace that solve problems and enhance the quality of life of its user. Professionally he has transitioned his career from manufacturing to product management and has distilled and embedded those lessons into the operations of Dogwood Goodes.
Jonathan is also Head of Product for a digital design agency SlingShot Effect (hyper link Slingshot-effect.com). Where he partners with startups and small businesses to develop websites experiences.
